Spoiler warning: This page is for players who have finished the main story. Start with the story guide if you want the setup without the ending discussion.
How to read the ending
The final sequence works best when you treat it as a continuation of the store routine rather than a separate action set-piece. The game's question is carried by what is heard, what is repeated, and what changes meaning after the last conversation.
Before replaying, write down the details that felt ordinary on the first run: the request at the counter, the timing of the dialogue, and any sound that made you pause. Those details are the most useful anchors for an ending discussion.
What to check on a second run
- Let every conversation finish before clicking again.
- Compare the words customers use with the sounds around the shop.
- Notice which details are shown directly and which are left for the player to connect.
- Return to the lore notes after you have formed your own reading.
The game is deliberately compact, so an ending explanation should leave room for atmosphere and interpretation. The strongest reading comes from the relationship between a familiar place and a question that becomes harder to dismiss.
